Who we are

Rotary Club Malta is a service club whose members provide assistance to communities in Malta and overseas. It is run by an annually elected board and forms part of Rotary International District 2110 (Sicily and Malta).

The club is registered with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations in Malta, VO/0153, and is a member of Rotary International, club number 12548.

How the club began

Rotary Club Malta was chartered at a dinner held on 6 October 1967 at the Sa Maison Hotel in Pietà, under the presidency of Anthony Miceli Farrugia.

Five members of the club have since served as District Governor: Charles Sammut, Christopher Calascione, Tony Coleiro, Alfred Mangion and John de Giorgio.

Meetings

The club meets mondays at 7:30pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel, St Julian’s, unless otherwise indicated.
